Ukraine Aims to Boost Defense Production with Support from Allies

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, urged Western allies to increase their defense production to ensure that Ukrainian forces have the necessary resources to combat Russia’s invasion.

Kuleba stated before a gathering with NATO foreign ministers in Brussels that there is no indication that the West lacks the determination to increase production capacity. However, he acknowledged that there is a significant amount of technical work that must be completed in order to achieve this objective.

According to Kuleba, the war in Ukraine poses a threat not only to the country’s security, but also to the safety of the entire EuroAtlantic region. He emphasized that Ukraine remains determined to protect its territorial integrity and will not be deterred.

Kuleba stated that it is imperative to persevere and continue the fight, as Ukraine will not retreat.

According to Ukraine’s military, Russia carried out multiple attacks overnight, using 21 drones and three missiles.

The Ukrainian military reported that they successfully intercepted and brought down 21 Shahed drones, made in Iran, as they were en route to the western region of Khmelnitskyi.

The Ukrainian military successfully intercepted two out of three missiles, with the third failing to hit its intended destination.

No damage or injuries were reported.
