On Monday, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin traveled to Ukraine to assure its leaders that the United States will continue to provide support in their conflict against Russia. This was Austin’s initial trip to the Ukrainian capital since April 2022 and the first time journalists joined him since the war started.
