The National Kidney Foundation, headquartered in the United States, reports that millions of individuals around the globe die from kidney disease annually due to limited access to affordable and accessible healthcare. This issue of cost and accessibility is also prevalent in Ghana, specifically in the Northern region where Tamale Teaching Hospital has seen an increase in kidney-related cases.
