A team of students from Kabarak University in the Rift Valley region of Kenya have created a process for converting grass into flour, which can then be enriched for human consumption. This innovative flour will be used in ugali, a traditional staple food typically made from cornmeal, as the cost of this grain has become too high for numerous households.
