In the Kherson region of Ukraine, in the town of Posad-Pokrovske, there is a destroyed house with a fence. On this fence, there is a sign warning about the presence of landmines.

In the spring of 2022, Russian troops invaded the area and caused damage to Ivan’s large two-story house. The kitchen was hit by a rocket and at least three more landed nearby, resulting in the destruction of Ivan’s beloved pear orchard that he had worked hard to maintain.
Currently, his town is undergoing reconstruction and daily life is gradually resuming.
