According to a study by the Pentagon, there is no evidence of extraterrestrial life in reported sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

A study conducted by The Pentagon on Friday analyzed reported observations of unidentified flying objects spanning almost 100 years and revealed no proof of extraterrestrial beings or intelligence. This aligns with previous attempts by the United States government to evaluate the validity of these claims, which have captured public interest for many years.

The All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office of the Defense Department examined reported sightings of unidentified anomalous phenomena (commonly referred to as UFOs) in U.S. government investigations dating back to 1945. However, no evidence was found to suggest that these sightings were linked to alien life or that the U.S. government and private companies were hiding any reverse-engineered technology from extraterrestrial sources.

The report, which was required by Congress, stated that after conducting investigations at all levels of confidentiality, it was determined that the majority of reported sightings were actually everyday objects and occurrences that were mistakenly identified. Another section of the report, which will cover more current research, is still in progress and will be released at a later date.

In an attempt to deal with a large number of reported UFO sightings, American authorities have tried to uncover evidence of alien existence, but have not yet discovered any concrete proof.

The recent 2021 report from the government analyzed 144 instances of aircraft or other objects moving at unusual speeds or paths, and no connections to extraterrestrial activity were discovered. The report did not offer many findings and suggested the need for improved data collection.

The topic gained renewed interest in the previous summer when a retired intelligence officer from the Air Force spoke to Congress and claimed that the U.S. was hiding a long-running program that investigates and analyzes unknown flying objects. The Pentagon refuted his allegations and stated in late 2022 that a new department was established to monitor reports of unidentified flying objects – the same department that released the report on Friday – and had received “hundreds” of new reports but had not yet found any proof of extraterrestrial existence.

The creators of the report released on Friday stated that their goal was to conduct a thorough scientific examination of a topic that has continuously fascinated the American population.

The report stated that AARO acknowledges that a significant number of individuals genuinely hold certain beliefs, which stem from their personal experiences, the experiences of others they trust, or reputable media and online sources.

The rise in TV shows, books, films, and the abundance of online and social media content focused on UAP-related subjects has probably affected the general discussion on this matter and strengthened these convictions among certain groups of people,” the statement stated.
