Russia and China have both come to an agreement that Moscow should participate in talks regarding Ukraine.

On Sunday, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Foreign Minister, and Li Hui, China’s representative for Eurasian affairs, stated that any talks about reaching a resolution for the Ukraine must include Moscow’s involvement.

The Chinese representative had a meeting with Galuzin during his second visit to Europe to advocate for a resolution to the Ukrainian conflict. His trip will also encompass visits to Poland, Ukraine, and Germany.

The Russian foreign ministry stated on its website that there was a vigorous and comprehensive discussion on the Ukrainian crisis.

The statement was made that a political and diplomatic resolution cannot be achieved without Russia’s involvement and consideration of its security interests.

In February 2022, Russia initiated a complete invasion of Ukraine, deemed a “special military operation” with the intention of “eliminating Nazism” in its neighboring country.

The conflict in Kyiv, which has been ongoing for two years and resulting in the deaths of innocent civilians on a regular basis, is referred to as an unjustified takeover by both Kyiv and its partners in the West.
