An attack by Russian missiles on a residential building in Kryvyi Rih resulted in the deaths of three individuals.
According to Ukrainian authorities, a missile from Russia struck a residential structure in the city of Kryvyi Rih on Tuesday, resulting in the deaths of at least three individuals and injuries to 38 others.
According to Oleksandr Vilkul, who leads the military administration in Kryvyi Rih, the attack on the building was caused by one of three missiles that struck the city. Kryvyi Rih is the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and is often subjected to Russian attacks.
Zelenskyy offered his sympathy on social media and showed gratitude to the rescue team for their support.
“Every day, our cities and villages suffer similar strikes. Every day, Ukraine loses people to Russian evil,” he wrote. “There can be no pause, not for a day, a week, let alone a month, in support for simply defending lives, for saving people from terror.”
On Tuesday, Russian authorities stated that two fuel sites in Russia were damaged by Ukrainian drone attacks, and also mentioned that Russian troops successfully defended against attempts of cross-border ground attacks by pro-Ukrainian groups.
Two organizations claiming to consist of Russians who are against the government in the Kremlin have declared that they entered Russia.
The defense ministry of Russia reported an attempted invasion by Ukrainian “terrorist groups” from three different directions, which included the specific targeting of the Belgorod and Kursk regions.
On Tuesday, the Ukrainian military carried out aerial attacks on the Russian capital and areas adjacent to Ukraine. They also targeted regions further inside Russian territory.
The leader of the Nizhny Novgorod region, located 775 kilometers from Ukraine, stated that a drone from Ukraine caused a fire at an oil refinery.
The governor of the Oryol region in western Russia stated that a drone accident at a fuel facility resulted in a fire, however, there were no reported casualties.
The regional governor reported that a Ukrainian drone targeted the Belgorod region, situated on the border of Ukraine, resulting in some residents losing access to electricity.
The Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, stated that a Russian drone was successfully intercepted and destroyed as it approached the Russian capital. No harm or injuries were reported from any debris that may have fallen.
Authorities in the Tula and Kursk regions additionally stated that Ukrainian unmanned aircraft were eliminated in those regions on Tuesday.
