A shelter inspired by the hobbits provides relief for Ukrainian children experiencing stress.

Volunteers from a school in the Kyiv region of Ukraine created a bomb shelter that resembles a house from “The Hobbit” movies. The original school was destroyed during Russia’s invasion, but the volunteers rebuilt it and also added a playful shelter for the students. Lesia Bakalets shares more from Kyiv, with videographer Evgenii Shynkar.
