According to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, Ukraine has shipped a total of 15 million metric tons of goods through its Black Sea route, with 10 million tons consisting of agricultural products. This statement was made on Tuesday.

In August, Ukraine began the creation of a pathway along the western coast of the Black Sea, close to Romania and Bulgaria. This came after Russia pulled out of a 2022 United Nations agreement for grain exports in the Black Sea and warned that any ships could be seen as military targets.

According to a statement from Kubrakov, within a five-month period of the corridor being in use, a total of 469 new ships have arrived at our Ukrainian ports for loading.

According to him, there are currently 39 ships being loaded at the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi. Additionally, 83 more vessels have confirmed their ability to visit the ports and transport 2.4 million tons of different goods for export.

In the season from July 2023 to June 2024, Ukraine, a prominent producer and seller of grains worldwide, reports a surplus of 50 million tons available for export. As of January 8th, they had already exported 19.4 million tons of grain.
